Creating the Perfect Sunday Ritual

By Alexa Eden

Sundays are for… Selfies? Scaries? Sunburn? Nope. Not at C3! We’re shifting our perspective. Sundays are now for Self Care, and you’re now invited to the party.

But before we jump into the fun, let’s clear up a lot of misconceptions around what exactly “self-care” is. What counts, and what doesn’t. As described on PsychCentral, “self-care is any activity that we do deliberately in order to take care of our mental, emotional, and physical health. It is not something we force ourselves to do.”

Sounds great, but still pretty broad. Where to start?

If you’re like most people, you’ve spent time scrolling on instagram, or searching #selfcare, and you’ve probably come across posts of radiant reminders to “love yourself,” bright images of bath bombs and other products being promoted to help you take good care. And while we love a good instagram feed just as much as the next person, we also realize there is more to self care than just taking a cute photo.

So with that in mind, we’ve launched Self Care Sundays, the latest in our C3 Live series to hear directly from the world's top medical professionals and health coaches on their cutting edge techniques for self care. Our self care Sundays blend the wisdom of medical science and natural remedies providing valuable insights into how to create a sustainable routine for everyday living. Featuring an ever expanding range of topics from healthy rituals, natural medicines, and holistic lifestyle practices in an effort to educate our community on how to increase your overall immunity and resiliency for greater wellbeing.

When we give ourselves permission to nurture ourselves, we become more radiant, more aligned, and more resilient to the peaks and valleys of life. Join founder Michael Blunt @Michaelablunt each Sunday @ 6pm EST of this month on his Instagram Live feed to learn the latest.
