Spruce Up Your Space

While we’re all doing our best to shelter-in-place, spending this much time in your home is likely illuminating some of those not-so-loved areas of your abode.  Perhaps it’s your wardrobe, the kitchen cabinets, or those miscellaneous drawers that always seem to acquire the strangest objects. With more time spent here, it can be helpful to create a space that matches the desired feeling you wish to have in your home.

  • In your bedroom, do you feel relaxed? Are you able to unwind after a day of remote working or the chaos of parenthood?

  • In your bathroom, do you feel cleansed, able to wash away whatever is needing to be let go?

  • In your kitchen, what nourishes senses?  Are all your senses fed upon entry?

There are so many ways we can make our homes feel good to us.  We invite you to explore what would serve you best in these times.  Try incorporating the art of Feng Shui with a beginner mindset.  Revive your workspace with some Marie Kondo tips and tricks.  Move some things around and view your spaces with fresh eyes.

It may be enticing to buy new things or add more to a scene, and perhaps this time around see what you can do with what already exists.

Choose to see your home as an experiment, what kind of feeling will you create?
